There is no clandestine conspiracy at work. All of human development has suffered these kinds of problems. It's the very nature of the marketplace of ideas -- a self-reinforcing system. I vaguely remember a Nobel Prize having gone out to work done in this area of Economics about 6 years ago... Just sayin.

Ultimately we can't "really describe" anything.

Since when philosophy gives better answers than science?

You are no different than Einstein was described as in this video. To re-quote (a part of) that line at 04:47 from Paul Davies, "...preferring to put his faith in pure thought."

A book worth reading is Hans Vaihinger's book, The Philosophy of "As if" which was published in 1925. I think you will get the meat of it in the general introduction. Matter and energy are fictions, albeit useful ones. I am afraid that the guys at CERN are victims of their own fictions. They are, in a sense, working with fictional terms trying to comprehend X. But as the history of science clearly shows, X is not so easily grasped by fictions.

You practically is saying plasma is a fiction as well with this.

If you work at, like, CERN, i will believe you, MAYBE! Just maybe!

Matter and energy are fictions just like latitude and longitude. Yes, they are useful fictions but fictions nevertheless.

This is a great video thanks for posting. Have already seen other vid's on the electric universe absolutely fascinating, especially the one about mars....sure does seem to explain a lot of things our current theories don't, without of course making things up like black holes etc which cannot be validated....

Let's face it, science really can't describe plasma - and when it tries to do so, out comes bullshit. For starters, plasma is neither matter nor energy.
