you are wrong. alexei ramirez led the league in homeruns during the 2006-2007 season. he played centerfield like griffey and was very good at that as well. a combination of speed, power and defense, just like griffey.

Alexei never was considered like that in Cuba, never.
I'm cuban and I live in Hialeah almost 2 years. Alexie is very good, but he is not a slugger than Griffey. In Cuba there are many players better than Alexei and very good sluggers.

not sure anyone realizes this, but alexei was considered the ken griffey jr of cuba. i saw him play down there. hit for average, power, great defensive centerfielder. white sox got a gem of a player. provided he stays healthy, i bet he'll be the everyday 2nd baseman by september.
