Today on myfavoriteworkout.com I take you through a few at-home standing leg exercises that don't require any equipment or space! These exercises are gentle on the joints, but produce an excellent burn and shake in the muscles. I find this type of exercise really works to lengthen, lean and strengthen the body without adding mass. Proper form is key when doing these exercises. Keep your knees over your ankles, toes/knees/hips/shoulders parallel and facing forward (unless I specifically instruct you to turn your feet out), keep your core engaged, and breathe throughout the workout. Repeat each movement I demonstrate for 8 reps. As you build strength and endurance, do 2 sets of 8 for each movement, then 3 sets of 8. Your legs should truly burn and wiggle when you do these - you'll see what I mean soon... Let me know what you think!
