im from illinois i fish the chain of lakes and do well but theres alot of them hotspots in huntley,crystal lake, and lake in the hills for nice bass

IN ILLINOIS ITS 14" but i usually catch 17-22" good fishing in a town called crystal lake

who is keeping bass 13"? nothing under 15" is legal to keep where are you fishing?

that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. First off, bass over 13" don't taste very good. Second, catch and release is for people that fish as a sport, not for food. It's not an excuse for not cutting them open, it's a way to enjoy fishing and put the fish back to grow larger
