Well, Tientos is at a slower rate and is not necessarily happy, a bit like Solea, in the sense of the rhythm only. If you play Tientos por Tangos, it is just at a faster rhythm and is then considered to be a "festejo" flamenco, or party flamenco. You can do the Tangos por Tientos as well, as long as there is a pause in the middle, then you start again at Tientos. It isn't that common, but it can be done! I like Solea the best I think! It has a unique sound to it!

Yah! I'm here for a spring semester at the Universidad de Sevilla. By the way, where are you from? I can't tell from your accent! Anyways, Thanks again! I had my midterm - "parcial" today and I got everything correct on the listening part. I had to listen to our teacher play guitar and distinguish from: Solea, Bulerias, Seguiriya, Tientos, and Tangos!

Hey, thanks for playing, I've seen the tientos/tangos, the seguiriya, the bulerias, and solea.... I am in Sevilla taking a college course on flamenco... if it wasn't for this, I'd probably not understand what he was trying to get across!
