the thing i like most about jay-z is when i first came out people looked at him as a sorry rapper, because tupac, biggie were still alive, snoop dogg, ice-cube , bone-thugz were all popular, so he had to compete with all of them so he didnt get any recognition. but in 1998 he hit the ground running and aint stop since. best ever
