This is my son, Elijah, when he was 3 years old. A big Switchfoot fan. Mom and Dad went to a Switchfoot concert without him. I knew he would be bummed when we told him about it the next morning. I knew it would make good Switchfootage. Before you go calling CPS on us, know that we drove 4 hours to take him to their concert when he was 2. Back stage passes. He met all the guys (he knew them all by name and instrument). He has since recovered from this incident and is a thriving 5 year old. • He is six now and we just took him to see Switchfoot. He loved it. His favorite is "The Sound!"

itsQuinntendo - yes that face. Too classic. I know it's my kid, but every time I watch it I crack up.

  • haha! even kids like swithcfoot! they're switchfootIZED!

  • I don't see how making fun of your own kids disappointment is enlightened and empathic parenting. While he is very cute, the whole episode seems cruel and exploitative. What are you teaching him in terms of how to value his own feelings as well as the feelings of others?! Joking about calling CPS is simply an inoculation to distract from the more important point: you are entertaining yourself and others while watching your sons emotional confusion and pain. I for one am NOT amused

  • I feel his pain I don't think SWITCHFOOT

    has come to Australia yet!
