Caprice Take Off

1989 Caprice take off. I made this video so I can compare the differences from my current exhaust setup which is a Cat delete and Glass pack muffler, to when I do my next set up which is True Duals, Shorty Headers, High Flow Cats, Flowmaster 44's. Its going to scream compared to this. Stay tuned,

@jonszabo Just the little base model 5.0, 305 V8. In this video it has the Cat delete (its exempt from emission here in P.A) and a cherrybomb. Keep in touch for when it gets its true duals.

@airsoftmama Seems like it has plenty of power from what I see in the vid. I'll try to check back often to see it when you've gotten the dual exhaust set up. :)

@jonszabo Thanks! It was at about half throttle during this video, letting the transmission shift on it's own too. It has more capable power; its unfortunate how much fuel it really uses when you utilize it though ;)

@airsoftmama Only half throtte? Cool...so, then it's good there's even more power when you need it. You only need a partial throttle for regular driving (and better mpg's...lol)...but, have the power there when you need it. :)

@jonszabo yupp, you can tell this was sort of controlled. at full throttle in first gear it will spin tire for a good 10-15 feet before it hooks up. I dont do this often because I prefer to take care of my Caprice and my tires are very, very new.
