Director Albert Gapasin explores the Filipino-American culture clash in this depiction of gay and lesbian Filipinos living in the United States. The cast's stories explore the experience of conflicting influences in relation to social, cultural and parental ideals. Their stories intersect thematically at the crossroads of cultural/sexual identity and stereotypes, coming out, familial acceptance, interracial dating and the pursuit of the American dream.

DIRECTOR
Albert Gapasin -- First time filmmaker, a Loyola Marymount graduate in Television Production whose working experience includes Access Hollywood, EXTRA and Bounty Hunters.

PRODUCER
Jim Geis -- This is Jim's first foray into film production.

CAST
Kay (22) Student. Raised in the United States is currently studying at DePaul University. Kay can be seen performing slam poetry in Chicago.

Jess (31) IT Consultant. Born and raised in the Philippines, moved to United States approximately 10 years ago. Jess balances a demanding professional career with adventure trips.

Lani (39) Writer. Grew up in the Philippines, moved to the United States through Toronto. Lani is currently finishing her thesis.

Angel (39) Writer. Former Gay Chicago Magazine columnist, raised in Hawaii is a graduate from Northwestern University. Angel now dances for a Chicago based jazz dance company.

  • lool, that jess-guy says hes born there but he doesnt act like it... he says that there r no open samesex relationships in the phils, when actually its one of very few countries in the world where samesex relationships are very accepted....(i grew up in sweden which is said to be among the top hbt-accepting countries, but tell me why i had never in my 16year old life seen two guys holding hands,but it only took me a couple of hours during my first visit to the phils before i saw it on the street

  • I'm completely straight and I have this question. How do Lesbians attract other girls by looking weird like that? Why can't they just look normally girlish and that way attract other lesbians. I bet that Kay girl would look nice if her hair was longer ^_^ How would I know? I don't understand you guys.

  • Times are really changing. This decade's LGBT rights movement has become more intense as more LGBT youth are coming out and are fighting bravely altogether. Now, what's left to do for LGBT filipinos in the Philippines is to target the media to change the portrayal of gay people and set a positive image and influence to society.
