Here's a sexy and highly successful European comic for you, Cat Claw. Her alter ego is Carol Connor and she's a female version of Spider-Man. Like Peter Parker and his spider bite, Carol was scratched by an experiemntal lab cat, then accidentally exposed to sigma radiation. That gave her feloine agility, claw-like nails, and superhuman strength. Brain child of Serbian artist Bane Kerac, Cat Claw was published by Dnevnik and quickly won the hearts of Scandinavian countries, then spread out to another ten countries over the world. She even came to America where the publishing firm of Malibu brought out nine of the Cat Claw titles before the first gulf war interrupted the run. In 1994 Marvel bought Malibu and, because of tangled economic procedures, cancelled the entire Ultraverse line. Music has changed. Instead of "Stray Cat Strut," by The Stray Cats, we now have "101 Percent Girl," by The Robins (thanks to YouTube Audio Swap.

  • I'm still hoping for more Cat Claw adventures, even though I have not read all the ones that exist. In Sweden it's not that easy to find Cat Claw albums.

Anyway I think this comic was a real good one compared to all the others, so it's sad that there aren't more of them. I just love Cat Claw!!

  • I love this comic!

    Cat Claw rules!

  • @tamaransns

They are sold in comic-book shops; Darkwood and Alan Ford. It's HC collection "Ultimate Catclaw" of old issues from EKS and also some new episodes. It consists of 12 albums (8 published and 4 to be published in near future). 1.31 is album #1 - "Cat Claw", 2.29 is album #3 - "Šic/Shoo" and 2.33 is album #2 "The Gauntcat - Krv nije Mleko".

  • hi bane kerac ich bin aucht deine grose fan du has so gute comics cobra gezehnet geile steil du bist die beste majster branislaw kerac meine beste comics zeihner in welt ich libe deine kunst und bilder du bist echt proffi

  • Oh and regarding music, author Bane Kerac is big fan of 80's glam metal especially band Halloween (pumpkin gang from the comic).

So maybe song 'I Want Out' by Halloween (also mentioned in comic) would be best choice for background music.

Just hint, great vid anyhow 5

  • Great vid I'm a big fan of Cat Claw :)

Please tell me where did you get covers at 1.31, 2.29 and 2.33???

Those are Serbian album re-editions of original old episodes from EKS Almanah like you have in 2.37

I've never seen those albums sold in Serbia?! I have all original editions though...

  • Who does this song? The Robins? When?

  • Ah the Euro-comics, where there not afraid to take it to the next level.

(by way the Audio Swap has been disabled by WMG too.)

  • this has no sound.
