He's not taking credit for the bailout. He maintains that the infusion of cash was a mistake and costs the taxpayers billions of dollars. What he is claiming credit for is calling for a court-supervised bankruptcy proceeding to reorganize and eliminate costs. This is what ultimately happened and is what saved the companies just as he predicted. But the infusion of cash from the Obama Administration was nothing but a payoff to the UAW who didn't want to cut back on their lavish incomes.

@mpetrie "Mitt Romney had the idea first...a course of action that eventually the Obama Administration adopted." Me me me, it was my idea. How you get anything other than him taking credit for it out of that is beyond me. Your mouth is moving and words are coming out, but all I hear are tired talking points and nonsense.
