  • This is very clever for many different reasons!!! Incredible work!!!

  • Thanks King - I appreciate it. Why do you think it's clever? What I actually did was to match the names of artists/bands to the games....most of them fit ok.

  • its quite cool, did ur mate Justin Shave cut up Aja by steely dan to get the instrumental by ne chance. Cus i know thats the orignal sample used in the orignal song this parodys

  • No - I didn't know that Aja was the original, thanks for mentioning, I'll check it out.

He actually cut up the Mylo track itself, which took about an hour to get right...

  • How did you get the instrumental version of Mylo´s Destroy Rock ´n Roll (without the vocals)?

By the way, excellent work of yours!!!!

  • I didn't...my genius friend Justin Shave (see Etherfox and Antigoneland) kindly agreed to help make the tune for me...he created the tune by ripping small parts from the original and stitching it all back together again - amazing

  • Cool video. Is there any chance you still have the instrumental version? I would like to use it for a friends birthday... Cheers

  • @tobydownton Clever attention to detail. Movie capturing the games. Acknowledging the ignorance of the preach in Mylo's original such as mispronunciation of well known artists. Merging C64 audio to enhance what would have been a basic mimic. A well thought out and executed project.

  • Awesome video. Keep on with that good work!

  • Great work. Some of the games you chose to include could've been better though (no Great Giana Sisters, Turrican, Stormlord, Cybernoid or Myth??), but it was still good.

  • Wow, I remember so many of these games. That is sad.

  • This is by far one of the best C64-Tributes i've ever seen!! Thank you for the MP4!!! Cheers!
