1. One of the most controversial and divisive bills in the state legislature is the so-called Markey Bill, sponsored by Queens Assemblywoman Margaret Markey. It would life the statute of limitations on sexual abuse claims for one year. The Catholic Dioceses of New York have long been opposed to the legislation. Yesterday, I spoke with Father Kieran Harrington, the Vicar for Government Affairs
and Public Policy for the Brooklyn Diocese.

2. When he was 17, Justin Fatica had what he calls an experience with God. That experience inspired him to start an unusual youth ministry called Hard As Nails. Hes since been the subject of an HBO documentary and written a book to help people understand his message. And now, hes Lino Rullis Catch of the Day.
