A Great Morning At St Catharines And Jordan With A BC Rail And A Meet!

I would do some railfanning this morning because i heard there was a BC Rail coming. So i headed down to the St. Catharines station. First i would see a couple GO trains, then i would see CN 422. I was assuming that CN 338 was at least an hour away. So i made a risky move, and left to get something to eat. I would get back to the station at 10:30am. Only seven minutes later, CN 338 would head through with the BC Rail! It was slowing down, and i was pretty sure i knew what was happening. It was going to stop at Jordan to wait for the late morning GO train. So when CN 338 had passed. I rushed over to Jordan. When i got there, CN 338 was parked far down the track from the signals. That surpried me how far it was, and kinda ruined it a little. Although, i am very happy that it at least stopped. GO 783 would come with cabcar 201, and a very loud horn! CN 338 had already started up, so it came only a couple minutes after the GO train. This is the second meet at Jordan i have seen this year. Both of the times it resulted a freight waiting for a passenger train. Both of the times, the freight was CN 338, both times with awesome power! Also, they were both Sunday's. What a coincidence! 338 was just coasting. they do that sometimes. He dimmed his lights though because he was almost static, and as well, he was meeting the GO. I dont think he stopped

I was on 200 like last Monday. It has a static horn though not a press and hold. As soon as you push the button no matter how long you hold it, it makes just 1 k5la sound like that video.

Sweet catch on the BC rail! I caught one today leading!!! Im about to upload, it came by around 8pm heading your way, though it will probably pass through at like 12am in Grimsby.

BC Rail is hot on the Grimsby I take it. I would love to see a BCOL on a CP train. Nice that you finally caught a BC Rail other than the usual BCOL's

I like the new GO MP40PH. Nice catches of all the trains and the BCOL engine.
