The video quality had to be reduced to 800 x 600 to get past the 2 GB limit on uploads here at You Tube. What I have here are the original video animations that I played at the 2008 Roswell CABYs. The CABYs are an annual arts awards ceremony in recognition of all Roswell area artists. This was the first time they used both an outsider and a video only artist to create an opening piece for their ceremonies. I was assigned to work with Roswell-based musician Darren Nelsen to come up with a 30 minute piece to be played while people were taking their seats. We didn't have enough time to create a 30 minute piece so it was decided we would loop our presentation three times. The one thing that I have added to my animations are titles to the screen. The music that you hear is not from Darren. The performance of this piece lead to an appearance at Roswell High School for both myself and Darren. At the school we ran our two pieces before 800 students. I asked Darren to join me because he used fractal principles to create his score for the ceremony and the request was to show and explain fractals to the students.
