The lyrics of this song are emotionally personal to me. The chorus captured me when it sings "go beyond religion." That hit me hard because that reminded me of how Christianity is not a religion where I just do do do and try to please others by my actions and outward appearance...what it's really about is a relationship with God, one that's daily, personal, and embracing. We look around the world and see the chaos and disorder. This was not meant to be, but since the fall of man, sin has entered the world and we now live in an imperfect and fallen world. However, through Jesus' name, His grace, and His mercy towards me, I now live to change the world, not to what I want it to be, but so that His name would be lifted high by all tongues, by all nations. That is the POWER of his name :]
