This is my brothers entry for Bushman's 2008 World Ukulele Competition. They placed 5th!

I'm going to try and tune my ukulele in D so I can hopefully practice this song, but for some reason mine has problems whenever I try. It just doesn't sound right.

Any pointers?

We played in GCEA tuning (just in a different key from the original in case your playing along iwth the original track.) The chords are in the sidebar good luck and let us know how you get along!

i may be the only one with critique.. i think they played it perfectly, very enjoyable. i didn't like the singing as much though. don't get me wrong, their voices are fine and it's really cool how they sung a line each so that the first and last syllable in the verses can overlap, like in the original. i just think it would be better if they sung it more..uh a bit more machine like, like ben gibbard does it. brilliant how they played it on a rooftop though (:
