This is the area flood around my neighborhood in Highland and East Highlands, California at the old Greenspot Road. Brought to you by Me and my Ford Escape! The first part of the video shows where a wall of mud and debris came rolling down from highland avenue then onto Summertrail Place and down Country Oaks Drive, hit Saffron Avenue, made an eastward turn onto Browning Rd and on to Baseline Road. Amazingly no homes were damaged. Just a few lawns, sidewalks and streets were covered in mud. The second part shows the East Highlands area (Greenspot Rd) and the river of mud that hit the neighborhood. Pretty awesome feat of nature. Highland is in San Bernardino County located in the Eastern Greater Metropolitan Los Angeles Region

  • I am not too familiar with East Highlands. My father grew up there.

  • If you lived over here right now you would not be missing it as much! :)

  • The first part starts on Browning Road

  • WOW, my prayers go out to you all and your families. Good footage.

  • @REV7verse9 Thank you!

  • Awsome, I used to live in this neighborhood in the early 60s.

  • @conifer541 I have only lived here for about a year and 8 months. It was really weird seeing all the mud near our door step!

  • I know how it is, I have been twice flooded and allways the same way. In 1997 and 2010. Always at 2 am. You wake up because you hear alarms, you go out and you hear city or village brodcast telling: "Attention, the govement of this area has called emergancy, there is a water wave coming from town of Přerov, all citizens are advice to secure their stuff. Everyone who is able, please come to west side of village to stop incaming wave...." You cann find video by key worlds "POVODEN TROUBKY"

  • I was in it I was in my house when it came it was scary

  • @delphiace I live in east highlands ranch..

  • Jesus! Poor people! Think I may have a drive around my area and see what it's like.

  • I was pretty raised in East Highlands, my mom has lived there for over 40 years.. she lives on Tyler St, it is the next street from Ypsilanthia. Homes were lost in this flooding. My mom's home was originally tagged yellow, but neighbors that have lived there for years and years direclty across the street from her lost their homes and were Red tagged.

  • Yes, I can still recognize parts of the old village.

  • Was this the old village that was there before all the houses? We used to live on Ypsilantha and I think i saw the street sign at the end of the video but couldn't make it out.

  • wow, I used to live there too

I still kind of miss California though :(
