  • Was your car a AUTO to MAN? I have a 76 and am looking to do the same set up to mine---any input would be very helpful thanks again, Sir and Ma'am.

  • No it wasn't. It originally had a 4 speed and was a easy swap. "Classic chevy 5 speed " (who I bought my kit from)does make a complete kit for the auto to manual swap. I've read other post about guys who have done the swap, and the most difficult part of the whole thing was getting the clutch Zbar bracket welded in.....and thats really not too difficult....good luck with your project
