No it wasn't. It originally had a 4 speed and was a easy swap. "Classic chevy 5 speed " (who I bought my kit from)does make a complete kit for the auto to manual swap. I've read other post about guys who have done the swap, and the most difficult part of the whole thing was getting the clutch Zbar bracket welded in.....and thats really not too difficult....good luck with your project
