Really, there were no other options for moderators? Pick someone without either an annoying voice or a lisp, and you've just made an upgrade.

I have a bit of a problem with the Conan monologues transitioning to 11:30. I'm of the opinion that you need a strong, sharp, quick monologue at that hour to keep the local news audience. I'm not sure the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien did that.
I swear, I'm a huge Conan fan, check my favorite videos, whatever...but I think that could've been better. They could've tempered the act a bit more to reach a wider viewer base.
Also, hindsight is 20/20.
