Will the same amount of fuel burn / last longer in this type of stove, or is it just a hotter flame?

Your stove is in runaway mode - looks like you used 4 oz fuel - with the stove spitting raw fuel, which finally gets combusted by the additional Gasification cylinder.

wrong my friend. there was no fuel spitting after initial burn as evidenced by the subsequent clean jets. true gasification takes place. good luck with yours though
