  • Ronnies bar? in Pointe Claire???

  • Nah,Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club,Soho,London.

  • Fook me, took out the album 'New boots', to have a play for the first time In an age, and It brought me Immense joy and a deathly sadness listening to an album of pure classics from first track to last, Joy and the sheer brilliance of Ian Dury, and utter depression that he Is no longer with us to give us such great Music!RIP.

    Thank you for posting.

  • The Blockheads are still rocking and have put out one excellent album since Ian left the stage, they are constantly touring and are better than ever live, they also have a new album coming out in April so check it out and catch them live. You know it makes sense.

  • Take care brother and oi oi !

  • This is by far my favourite song at the moment. Every five minutes I keep shouting 'knock me down with a feather!' It's annoying quite a few of my mates. Thanks for the vid.

  • My pleasure.

  • The heart of this band was always the great funk-jazzy bass player.

  • Ian had a BIG HEART... He probably chats with Captain Beefheart and Alex Harvey right now...

  • Norm is the King!!!

  • I'm a Blockhead too. Sold these albums for dope money in the 80s.

    not clever ^^

  • @drwinkle101 ,right on- wille weeks always wanted to play with Ian

  • the one and only....singular, funk-starred, Mary-le-Bow genius.

  • sempre grande!!

  • @drwinkle101 He was awesome, of course, but I think the whole band deserve equal credit. They are the sum of their equal parts. The songs are scandalously superb. Nice one :-)

  • The Block Heads played Camp Bestival 2010 and stole the whole festival. They were great live and the crowd rocked, played a very tight set - brilliant guys!! (still sad to miss Ian though)

  • rock an roll and saxophone :)
