Film documenting the workshops and process behind the 'When We Were very Young' project.
Children from schools and children's centres across Amber Valley have worked together to create music, models, stories and sound effects for a brand new television programme inspired by the golden age of children's TV.
The project began with a competition to create a new children's television character, which was won by Joe Mothershaw from Long Row Primary School with his character 'Inspector Roots McCarrot' a detective carrot who cracks the crimes of the Evil Dr Cabbage. The character was then developed into a short film by children, with the help of professional artists.
