Kenn Roberts, a successful developer in the Baltimore area, and his group, The Hard Travelers, had going a long series of benefit concerts for Cystic Fibrosis. Over the years the event grew raising hundreds of thousands of dollars. On September 26, 1990, Kenn asked Bill Danoff to reunite with his former wife and partner, Taffy Nivert, a duo called Fat City, for the annual benefit concert at Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia, MD. After singing a couple of numbers as one of the opening acts for the featured star, Emmylou Harris, Bill and Taffy asked their daughters, Emma and Lucy, to join them in singing the song that launched John Denver's superstar career and still is one of the most popular songs worldwide, "Take Me Home, Country Roads," written by Bill with Taffy and John.
Priceless, I wish I could have seen them in Concert! Thank you for posting this.
Blessings, Patty
