lol Cut the EGO's out of your statement fellas. Be you wrong or right your not defending anything other than your belief's nothing more. Reminds me a lot of Religious fanatics the way people argue and fight over whos first. whos best and who's right.

These Gracies are even more Japanophiles than japanese...Gracie diet and all those stuff, all asian influenced and still they claim it has their style? GI's are japanese, so is OSS...ohh...and also all of their techniques! I actually like the BJJ but not the Gracie propaganda..bunch of bullies trying to seem ethical and honor dudes. Fakers

Tattoo'd guys use to be just wanna be tough guys, now in the back of my head i'm thinking these tattoo'd emo guys these days knows some BJJ. In that sense if the tattoo'd guy is humble and is great then he deserves a black belt, but to be honest I would still say stay away from my sister or daughter what have you. haha
I think a lot of things he says are true. Once you get to black belt then its not only a rank based on talent but on your overall view point on jiu-jitsu and life. However, I think that the Gracies still feel that there way is the only way and that just is not true. When they first started to teach BJJ, it was for the rich only. That kind of shows with some of their philosophies. I hold the utmost respect for the Gracie family, but BJJ has grown beyond their "box" now.
