More open minded? They're learning a foreign language during their spare time! How much more open minded can they be? I got nothing but mad respect for the people of China. In America we don't learn another language because more foreigners are going to come to visit, we pass laws to kick their asses out! Hahahaha. No wonder China is going to be a super power, the adapt to anything. Good for them.

Their spirit is worth giving credit to, but their method is wrong. Learn English in 8 days? Come on ... I've been doing English for 20 damn years and my English is still flawed as ever

Li Yang is a genius! He understands the importance of English-speaking people being examples for young Chinese students to learn from. I so appreciate having been a part of this process in 2006.
