The fact that we care about starving people etc. is because of our Christian heritage. The Romans during the Roman Empire knew this. That's the reason Christianity grew so fast during their reign. It was so effective that some Roman Emperors forbade the Christians to feed the poor etc..

I didn't grow up with believing parents. My parents considered the Bible to be a bunch of made up stories. I was searching for the Truth and I was prepared to go wherever that would lead me. It finally led me to the Living GOD of the Bible.

Christianity is unique. It's the only religion that tells us that good works are worthless. Good works are an obligation we cannot please GOD with them. The LORD JESUS took our sins upon Him. Total love for bad humans like us.........
