this is the river derwent filmed from the road to barepot which was closed to vehicles. it shows the force of the water against the old railway bridge which was also closed to traffic for fear of collapsing like the new bridge which is 3/4 of a mile down stream. it also shows the remains of nav'vies bridge that connects northside to the town centre of workington.

  • No it hasn't gone, this bridge is at the bottom of Calva Brow, the bridge the Police Officer was on that collapsed is further downstream by the Reds ground.
