  • I believe Prof Kineer is has got hold of the truth here in a balanced well thought out argument. Joseph Hart wrote: "Poor sinners dejected, of comfort debarred, Whose hearts are afflicted because they're so hard; Despairing of favour-cold, lifeless, forlorn. Remember, the saviour in winter was born". Not only was it cold winter on earth but "cold winter" in sinners hearts. See John 1:11-12. This was where I first cast in my anchor.
