Thanks so much for this series! I'm new to CDing, not babies.. But I was very apprehensive and discouraged about making the switch. Now I'm a lot more confident in my decision and can't wait for my first order of sunbaby's to arrive! :)

I feel like you're a life-saver when I was adrift in the ocean. I found out I'm pregnant and decided that I always wanted to do cloth diaper when I was younger. I was cloth-diapered and my mom recommended it. Of course, I went to look at everything I needed to know and all I got was where to buy things, without any detail as to what they were. Thanks again for all the information, and it's nice to watch your videos because you don't say "um" every other sentence.

Thank you so much for the informative videos. I was looking into CD because my 2 week old got severe diaper rash. I got so confused with all the different types but you helped clear things up. I think I am going to try out the contour or fitted diaper since they have extra wicking ability.

@gagirl9595 The contours and fitteds do wick better than a prefold, but the diapers with the best wicking are those lined with polyester like pocket diapers.

thanks...is there a brand you suggest? And, if I am starting from scratch, and planning on washing daily, how many do you suggest?

@gagirl9595 I always recommend trying out a few different brands. Get 1-2 diapers of each and see what you like before you invest in more. Good brands include (but certainly are not limited to): bumGenius, Fuzzi Bunz, SmartiPants, Romparooz, Happy Heinys, and Thirsties.
