there is a little bit of speculation on this that I have been getting so please answer this question but, if you are coming straight out of high school and you're looking at being a production major do you need a demo for the acceptance process?

okay so im 14 and im starting to look for colleges that specify in record production. so far, this is the coolest school i've seen and i really wanna go to it, but someone is this said that this school is mainly for pop hip hop and all that stuff. im heavily into Post Hardcore music so would this school offer good lessons on how to mix the heavier like screamo type of music kind of music?

We typically look for a 2.5 at the minimum, but that's not to say there aren't other factors that can be considered if your grades weren't the best in the past. You can talk to your Admissions Rep about a probation time, as well as some other options.

The hip hop program is only 3 semesters, so it would be just over a year to complete, and yes, the amount of money stated would more than cover it.
