@spencechan I think people just like to yell "FAKE" on youtube for fun. It does look like green screen, but if you think about it; you'd have to fly a hang glider to capture the background footage anyway.

@coopmuch56 Don't know really. I doubt there's enough data for good stats. It's only as dangerous as you want it to be. As far as deaths per participants, it's safer than Soccer.

@soapbox94 Thanks soap box. That is great to hear. I've always been really quick to pick up things and lord knows I'll be reading my butt off long before I go to take my lessons. Hopefully it won't take long if I prepare. You really scored a deal on the 20$ a day though. I highly doubt I will be able to find that.

it would be nice to have a hang glider where you sit down like an ultra light. Im not keen on the position of lying forward and being stuffed into a harness

what is your descent rate in feet per minute on a hang glider at best glider

@210482fmj Around 600fpm best glide (8:1) and 200fpm min sink.... I think. it's been a long time since I've looked at those numbers. It's a 1987 Wills Wing 155 Sport American if you want to do some research. The newer Sport 2 performs much better.
