It makes me so sad/mad when I see what we do to those huge marvellous entities, there is intelligence in their eye. I literally want to cry over the fact that some peoples think whales are food. This is like (to me) the cannibalism of young children. And all the other sea mammals that are collateral victims of insane commercial fishing practices really hurts my soul. And now, even the sharks are under threat thanks to Asians taste for shark fin soup.

Captain Paul Watson deserves a lot of credit for the work he and his supporters are doing.

It's a shame Rupert won't cut them a break in the Australian media.

Japan is Australia's 2nd largest trading partner too.

That might be why Kevin Rudd is scared to do too much about whaling.

Although I hope Kevin sees some votes in doing something about it next election.

Yupp im Norwegian i dont see how whaling is of any need to us at.. I belive that goes for the majority of our population..

Only thing i can thing of that can justify it would be if one whale species got to numerous and needed to be reduced.

Like the norwegian moose since we took away al its natural predators already i guess.
