I don't understand why people seem to think that it has anything to do with Conservatism. Liberals talk about Libertarian values all the time. Homosexuality... the legalization of Cannabis... free speech. All of these things should not be controlled by anyone other than the people who choose it for themselves. It isn't hurting anyone.

Conservatism is almost a polar opposite.
