Caribou migration which we experienced starting at 3:30 am on 7/27/09 while on a 13 day Black Feather canoeing trip down the Coppermine River in the Nunavut Territory of Canada North of the Arctic Circle and very near the village of Kugluktuk (formerly Coppermine) located on the Coronation Bay of the Arctic Ocean. There may have been a thousand animals in the heard we saw that morning.
