Merhaba! This is indeed one of the most fascinating experiences of Hamburg! The traditional Turkish market at its scenic port!! There is a huge Middle Eastern ( Persian and Arabic) and Turkish immigrant population in Hamburg.
I was pleasantly surprised to find this market on the port and was euphoric about the whole Turko-German experience and even got inspired to look for some Turkish musical instruments around the port area...especially the Rebaba fiddle...but no luck! If you notice, I have added the subtle strains of the Turkish 'Ney' flute in the background to give it the flavor...as here was an Istanbul recreated, with the fresh fruits and vegetables, the vendors and their cries, the buyers and of course...the ocean!
I am passionate about Turkish music and the whirling Darveshes and of course, the cuisine...BTW do not forget to grab some soul-grabbing Baklawas around Hamburg!
Thats right. We have a huge Middle Eastern and Turkish immigrant population out there, with their traditional souqs, sheesha bars and bistros . Check out the traditional music I've added for the background.

Good to see this aspect of Hamburg...not what I would expect to be there. Merci.

well, there are a few others, like souvenirs, clothes, kitchen ware and leather products sold by East and South East Asians, some animals, hats and candy shops by locals but the biggest I saw was the Turkish vegetable and fruit market. Thanks for the comment Heir Hoffmann, please do pass my videos on.
