Chaffey College Fascism (Real Life)

Police brutality, and saving a baby (maybe?).

I was one of the members of the group who was NOT arrested (this time).

I'll have more soon. We're slowly getting more information; I promise to eventually be more comprehensive and coherent. ;-) I did several takes of this video, and posted this version just to make sure I posted something before leaving for work that day. The links fill in most of the blanks.

(edit: we later found out that the police here were power tripping from making their first arrest in YEARS the week before, and were eager to flex their power again [without thinking])

-Remember that police have to have a legal reason for arresting people, and not just doing it because they want to get rid of you, but for breaking the law.
-Not shown: illegal confiscation of (some of) our recording equipment. It was the refusal of the men being arrested to give it up which precipitated their arrest. (and why no one else in our group was arrested that day-- AND why we didn't have any footage available prior to what you see in the above linked vid... which is probably why so many of the the commenters took the side of the police. Much easier on them if they steal the recordings of what led up to the arrests [yes, illegal "confiscation" is theft, even if a law enforcement officer is doing the stealing-- all such confiscation is illegal if the one being confiscated from hasn't broken any laws, and if what you're stealing is recording equipment, "missing records" means they can't be used against them in court. One of the individuals arrested was even ASKED BY A CAMPUS OFFICER how to delete the recordings off the device while he was locked away, before the city police got there!])

There are respectable anti abortion movments (I do not agree with THEIR facist point of view but whatever) but this guy is an idiot. Wouldn't be more facist to try to control a women's right to abort her own baby when we are raised in this culture that is so demoralized. Give out free condoms, don't ruin two lives instead. (chances are that that babies life is going to suck and if there is any pain, I can't imagine it's any worse than circumsicism or any of that other fun stuff)
