Firstly, hello
Second, I do not own the rights to nor claim to own the song "Grey Day" by Madness.
In essence, the "point" of this film is to showcase my editing, show off the dance from me and my friends, and generally a light-hearted bit of fun.
Now that's over with, time to explain! My most recent assignment on my performing arts course in college was to create a "Site specific dance performance of pedestrianised dance". What that means in english is a dance inspired by the location you do it at.
My group decided that we should do ours as a film, which would be edited by yours truly. I decided that "If we're gonna make a film, then gall darn it it should be a good'un!" and thus threw myself at trying to make this as a music video :D.
For those who are interested, the "message" was to show how we move mechanically through our daily commute (to college or work etc.) practically void of emotion. The reason for the simplistic choreography was that it helped communicate the message.
In between assignments I am working on the next episode of Nobby The Gnome, never fear! I am also looking into doing more Star Trek videos if I can arrange more scripts.
