Me eating 1000 year old egg..

So I like to try many odd and exotic foods. I have seen 1000 year old eggs on several shows and wanted to try one. I found some at Obo's in Bloomington Indiana so I bought a pack. I ate one, video taped it for you all. I wish I would've had one to show the camera operators reaction. I think she gagged more than I even thought about it. Soo this is pretty much for you to enjoy, make fun of me, etc.

For those wanting to try one of these eggs. Well, it's not bad once you get past the smell of ammonia, and the after taste of ammonia. Pretty much it tastes like a mushy hard boiled egg with a cat urine after taste. So enjoy!

@MickieLJamesfan19 I wasn't sure, several on here have said to eat it cooked in porridge, others said it's raw. I think it's also probably like a lot of food and differs per area.

To those asking about cooking it, I don't know I'd look up how to cook it. They told me to eat it uncooked, I think they was playing with me.

Lol thanks everyone for commenting so far, just adding though I do respect cultural foods. Sadly this one did not please my sense of taste. Though other things normal Americans would consider odd often do. Insects so far seem to be my fav, I hope to review some prepackaged meal worms and crickets in flavor powder soon.
