Edward Maya é todo um conjunto musical (produtor, músico, compositor e DJ), da Roménia.
Graduou-se "George Enescu" music High School, em Bucareste, e atualmente é aluno do último ano na Universidade Nacional de Música de Bucareste (Conservatório).
Em 2008 ele produziu o álbum que ajudou a relançar a banda Akcent , aparecendo no mercado da música internacional, com hits como Stay with me, That's my name and Lover's cry , todos sob a marca Edward Maya.
O ano de 2009 trouxe uma surpresa no mercado musical romeno , a primeira canção "Stereo Love", assinado por Eduardo Maya como produtor artistico rapidamente se tornou um verdadeiro sucesso em boates locais em todo o mundo. O incrível sucesso de " Stereo Love" foi seguido por shows em todo o mundo, a canção atingiu as paradas de sucesso na Grécia, Dubai, Rússia, França, Albânia, Líbano, Arménia, Portugal, Polónia, Holanda, Egito, Espanha, Itália, Turquia, etc
Atualmente Edward Maya está de volta ao estúdio trabalhando em novos projetos, como produtor artístico.
