The protest at the time were real, The riot was a false flag, chinese security in disguise flaming the rioting so that china could excuse the excessive force used.

Well, they're really just trying to speak out against the deceptive propaganda which is the Chinese media. Sure anything dealing with the oppressed Chinese minorities is bound to be political, but that's not their intent here.
