These are some scenes from a harbor in the town of Miyatojima in Japan. This harbor was used as a place to store torpedoes and rearm Japanese submarines during the II World War. Later on, it became a seaweed processing factory but also, in the late 60's because of an unknown disease that affected the local water the factory was closed. Still there is the old building and the holes excavated in hills by the Japanese army.
The incidental music is by Ryukyu Underground.
Is this all shot with the GR-HD1?

No, this was shot was a Sony DCR-PC120. Unfortunately I couldn't get the time to make some shootings and editing with the HD1 but I reckon the quality of the GR-HD1 is way superior (in my tests with it).
