Note:
Dorms in Burma are separated by gender and boys are not allowed in the girl’s dorm building. Also girls are not allowed to go out of the dorm after 6pm. This has nothing to do with law or security. It’s just has been a tradition at dorms. So, in the song, the guitarist is/was assumed to be signing outside the girls’ dorm. But the girl is not sure. All she can see is the moonlight on the Judson Church* (inside Rangoon University, Burma)
