Também sou brasileira, mas adoro as músicas italianas, principalmente as 1950 até os anos 80.Que delícia o Pino, o Peppino, a Gigliola, o Solo, o Endrigo...eles me fazem ficar emocionada. A Itália, em matéria de arte não fica devendo prá ninguém.

Interesting how Donaggio was a classical musician. Too many pop music fans have no idea how much of a debt pop music owes to classical!

For example, Elvis Presley's "It's Now or Never" is actually "O Sole Mio."

But that's not classical - it's pop music Italian style. Italy invented easy listening music over a hundred years ago. Forza!

I didn't say that the song Io Che Non Vivo is classical. It obviously isn't.

I said that Pino Donaggio was a classical musician, and that classic music often contributes to pop music.

Donaggio studied violin as a child at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory in Venice and the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan.

He played for the I Solisti Veneti and the Solisti di Milano.
