I was down at the lake waiting for a fishing seminar to begin in the pavilion when I located these snakes. I had my camcorder because I was planning on looking for reptiles before and after the seminar. The white and brown snake is probably a Coachwhip and the dark one a yellow belly water snake. Since the dark one didn't move it was hard to tell. The Rough Green snake I saw by the pavilion was a real surprise. There are lots of people, cars and golf carts around there so it is a dangerous place for a snake. After the seminar I went back to Berry Creek and did see three other snakes but they were very quick to hide in the rocks. I did some fishing but didn't catch anything significant. There are many turtles there to steal your bait.
Is Texas infested with snakes or it's just like other places??

Texas is definitly not like other places! Yes, it is infested with snakes. Also Scorpions, spiders, and longhorns.
