Sorry, but the Stones version blows this out of the water and it isn't even close.

She was just the prettiest girl with the sweetest voice.

@jimmyratz She was never married to Jagger. In fact, she was STILL married to some fancy-pants art gallery owner named John Dunbar (who only divorced her AFTER Faithful's final split from Jagger in 1970). Faithful and Jagger ALMOST had a child, but she miscarried in '68. Ordinarily, I wouldn't dig her cheating on a husband, but since that Dunbar douche DID introduce John Lennon to Yoko Ono in '66, Karma had its way with that poser by having Faithful run off with Jagger shortly afterwards.

Was Marianne Faithfull ever married to Mick Jagger and if so, did they have any children together?

I've always loved this song. I'm reading her autobiography, now. Just wild stuff, but a light on a fascinating time with the London scene.
Her sweet voice was forever changed by her excesses.

Snitching my list, rickyhardo? keep it up!!

Rikky: Got your message. This is my favorite version , because it has the most beautiful pictures of her (plus I like the Dalmation). What I really appreciate about it are the photos after all she has been through (for those who know her history) are included in the end. This is the version that makes me cry!

@ThePoppy4u the picture at 0:33, after the Dalmation, has Marianne holding a Manfred Mann LP cover. I had that album and I think I still have it somewhere with the rest of my vinyl.
Thanks for your touching comments about the vid, friend.

Thanks Ricky for ripping off my original post to revive this amazing classic. I am glad you agree with my taste. Just kidding...anything to get the word out about the good stuff works for me! And this is really the good stuff.
