Everex took the wraps off the tiny CloudBook, an ultra mobile PC with a full size keyboard at Lunch@Piero's during CES 2008. The CloudBook runs the new open source gOS operating system and is based on the VIA C7-M ULV processor and will be available at walmart.com end of January.
i just ordered cloudbook from walmart....i will use it to surf net on the road.

and with a 50 gig external drives that fit in ur pocket also makes large internal drives useless

This is perfect. I thought the asus pc was a great concept and idea, except for the low storage space. 30gb is something that favors everex in the battle for the most cost effective mobile pc. When UMPC's debut about 2 years ago, this is what they should have been. Not no overlypriced $1000 systems. With apps transitioning to the web. A large hard drive is no longer necessary.

Well it told me a lot about the company (which is still nice) but I want more on the laptop... lol, I still have yet to see a picture of it even closed...;)
