Homemade Musical Instruments - Harmonium Parlor Event Part One

This was an exhibition of musical instruments that was run by the band, "Semi-On", of Nagoya, Japan. Every month they hold an event called "Harmonium Parlor", where they perform their music, have other musicians perform as well, DJs, fun video stuff, open mic, and showcase artists and their musical works in the gallery... this month, I was the artist.

I brought Native American flutes, shakuhachi, a HEE-YUGE big-ass bamboo bass flute (the one in one of my earlier vid's here on YouTube), a bamboo clarinet, didgeridoo, a 19-piece chromatic set of tubular drums (more like headless slap-tubes), and among still more other things, an acoustic/electric bass guitar I made out of an old cracker box, some discarded wood from a construction site, bamboo skewers for the frets, rosewood friction pegs, silicon-rubber strings, and the Piezo element from an old digital alarm clock as a contact pickup for amplification.

awsome man u gotta start touring at festivals it would be insane the drum circles you would get...and you would make a ton of money haha man serously!!!
