The internationally acclaimed Stephen Petronio Dance Company completes its 25th Anniversary Season with benchmarks from its celebrated history and a world premiere. The program features MiddleSexGorge (1990), a howling dance of sensual power; Petronios signature solo #3 (1986), set to music by Lenny Pickett, musical director and band frontman for Saturday Night Live; and Foreign Import, a trio originally made for the Scottish Ballet (2007), set to Radioheads infamous rock anthem Creep. Petronio continues his commitment to ground-breaking new music with a world premiere set to Jonny Greenwoods award-wining orchestral score, Popcorn Superhet Receiver.
What was the Stephen Petronio (Michel Clark?) production of some years back where there was a man, wearing an enourmous pair of wings and a couple of television sets strapped to his feet for shoes, walking across the stage?
