  • Most of the union leaders are ideological socialists. They are rigid and exploit the union members for political gain. Socialism is their religion and the Democrat party is their church. They care about nothing else. They are vicious and self destructive in the worst ways .

  • Thanks for the clearification. No problem and Merry Christmas to you too. :)

  • Union-laden Germany is surprisingly doing fairly well compared to other western countries while maintaining a strong Mittelstand. You're forgetting the fact that the world evolves. Technology replaces manual labor all over the world.

  • @dorkydork79 Almost every worker in Europe belongs to a union. I don’t think they stack up very well against the U.S. but we seem to be trying to emulate them. Don’t forget that Europe is the continent that produced Hitler, Stalin and many other murderous tyrants.

  • The economy is way too complex to pinpoint it to 2 reasons. You missed outsourcing, stock market speculation, mergers...

Stop blaming the unions. You think money managers or stock brokers are worth millions of dollars while successfully running their company into the ground?

  • @dorkydork79 Labor Unions (with government help) are responsible for destroying millions jobs and tens of thousands of businesses all over the world. The jobs lost have caused unspeakable human misery. The amount of destruction brought about by socialists and their labor unions needs to be exposed as a major atrocity.

  • Its simple. the rest of the world works cheaper than we do for the same amount of work. Its not nafta or unions. Read about the fed reserve and how the military has reaped trillions, thats a good place to start.

  • what is that its that true

  • I have driven past, walked past and upon the ruins of several of these places.

Most notably, what used to be the worlds longest auto assembly line.

Many of my family members worked at these places.

The cities that housed these sites, have been driven out by many forces.

The effects are still coming in waves. It wasn't just the auto companies that closed, it was also the bars, resturants, stores, pharmacies, gas stations, hospitals, schools, etc, etc, etc.

Let's talk NAFTA & CAFTA, too!

  • @erictheviking871 That is not very good name calling. It doesn’t make much sense. You should be able to do better.
